Abstract: In this paper, Tangshan Kailuan Group Mining island face as engineering background, through FLAC3D simulated periodic island face and roof caving mining process, analyze the depth, the pressure to the stress field, seam dip and recovery and other different extents bump the main cause of the relationship and the stress distribution of roadway island face stope between. Using energy theory further analyzed the influence of the main incentives instability impact on the energy distribution of the stope, revealing the rock burst main incentive for island face stope influence of the surge in energy release. The results show: With mining depth and lateral stress factor increases the risk of regional stress peak and peak energy density and depth were increased coal body; at the same time to different extents mining area has been mined field stress field and the energy field are there weakening influence. This study for the island face in longwall mining safety has important scientific significance and value engineering guidance.
